Sudoku Nook

Games on Barnes & Noble Nook?
I recieved a Nook as a gift in early March but now I see that you can get games onto your Nook. I’m confused because I don’t know if I need to get a software update so I can get games & music on my Nook or did they redo the Nook? Hahah I know this sounds confusing but what I’m really asking is do I have to have bought a Nook like really recently in order to get the games or is there some sort of software update that I can download?
I hope this really makes sense. I want to be able to play sudoku on my Nook and I hope that my Nook isn’t too old to be able to do this. I was looking at Barnes & Noble online and it shows that now the bottom part has like 6 kind of buttons and mine only has 5.
