Waht are various methods of solvind SUDOKU Puzzle?

I Wrote a program in MS Excel to solve the SUDOKU puzzles using set theory (Intersection & Complements). But some puzzles are not getting solved.

Waht are other algorithms to solve these puzzles?

I hope this helps you.

In Sudoku, the major ways used are:
1) Intersection of existing numbers vertically and horizontally.
2) Presence of numbers in the smaller 3×3 units that make the puzzle.
3) The non-occurance of all but one numbers in a particular square causing the occurance the remainder number.
4) Completing vertical and horizontal lines and the 3×3 units that make the puzzle.
Lastly, there is always human mind that rules and not the human derived ones.
