Could you clarify please?
Here is a tutorial gives some tips on how to solve sudoku puzzles. I'm stuck in the middle of page 6. I do not understand the logic there. This is the relevant page http://puzzles.about.com/library/sudoku/blsudoku_tutorial06.htm Please note at the extreme end of the discussion, said "…… And that leaves only one possibility for the 7, Box 6. And Nail 8 in Block 3 !…." I I understand ….. How is nailed to 8 as explained above? Sudoku rules: Using the numbers 1 to 9, the number not be repeated in each column, row of blocks on page 6 to address 7. first time, you will find all the 7s. You know the 7 in the vertical block. The first line has a 7. Therefore there can be another seven in this line. There are seven in row 7. if this line can not have a seven in it. So the only place you can put 7 is the 9column, 2row.
